David Eakin is Azure Aquatic Adventures’ expert underwater image creator. David has been living and working in North Queensland and diving the Great Barrier Reef for the past five years. Whilst having a lifelong passion for photography, David has only in the last four years extended this enthusiasm to include the subaquatic marine environment. Some of David’s favourite dive locations include The Yongala wreck off Townsville, the untouched reefs off Townsville, Keswick Island near Mackay, The Palm Group of Islands in particular Pelorus Island, and of course many of the pristine reefs off Cairns. Through his underwater images David hopes to share with others the unique beauty that lies beneath our seas and oceans, and to create an awareness of the environmental importance of the underwater wilderness.
